Dr. Simendinger is a tenured Professor of Management in the College of Business at the University of Tampa. He was formerly a tenured Professor at Central Michigan University. He was a hospital administrator for twenty years and holds a Doctorate Degree in Organizational Behavior from Case Western Reserve University and two Masters Degrees, one in Health Care Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and the second in Industrial Engineering. Dr. Simendinger is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives and a member of the Editorial Review Boards of the Journal of the American Medical Association, and the Journal of Clinical Engineering. He has published over fifty articles in most health care journals as well as some management journals. He is currently working on his ninth book. Dr. Simendinger is a member of the American College of Managed Care Medicine, Inc and on their faculty to train physicians seeking ACMCM board certification.
